Or finally say ” I decided to complete my resolutions?”  Sometimes we just fear to admit that you turn over a new leaf. Because really, we’re all sceptic at heart, until proven otherwise. It’s true, when you try on a new fitness regime, or start on a new adventure, it’s almost secretive, because we live in judgmental society. We no longer believe in fairytales, and happy endings, a change… It’s rare that someone like Barack Obama comes along and say “Yes, we can (change for the better). We still like to find the flaws and point it out just so you can say “I TOLD YOU SO” or “It’s too good to be true”.

Truth is, I don’t have the answer. Nobody has. And you are what you choose to believe. We all want happiness. Period. Freedom in health, financial, relationships… So, if we all want the same things (maybe in different priorities, it doesn’t matter), don’t fight for WHO IS RIGHT, but WHAT IS RIGHT.

I have some photos for your viewing pleasure or eye rolling, but hear me out, and pass it along, if you feel it’s worth it. :D These past 3 years or so, I (and possibly few million others) have been enthralled and educated by this experience of great health and wealth. And seeing so many lives transformed, the sceptic in me takes little space in heart, and the believer in good things, and positive outlook in life is enlarged.

If we knew each other 3 years back in post-high school and in college, you will see a hidden butterfly in a cocoon. I was growing out of my awkward stage. I learned to speak and voice out my opinions. I was really serious about college, I loved every bit of it. And I was afraid. College life showed a sneak peak of the real world , the reality of it all. Rat race, back biting, 9-5 job, career advancement, climbing the steps, owning and owing because that means you’re going to have to think about buying your own home and car, and owing the bank at the same time (not even talking about studies loan yet!). So I had a early 20s crisis. But I had fun, I wanted to “grow up” and make my mark in the society. (I bet you thought about all these? If you’re a parent reading this, now you know!)

Anyway, of course I wanted to look good, always been real active in school before. So probably not doing very well, usually self conscious, camera shy, I wanted be confident-but really I’m not, insecurities. Bad skin, barely fitting into old jeans and size M clothes. I feel like in my mid-30s after 5-6 years of working, and I’m only getting started, so it was pretty bad right?

Bad enough for me to have some common sense. I met a stranger and of course, I had my fair share of self struggle and my family’s but I simply changed my lifestyle into a healthier one. Learned about nutrition, exercise a little bit more, take care of my appearance, basic needs, feeling good about oneself is crucial. I lost 8 kilos and I shaped up 20 inches in 4 months and maintain ever since… :)

3 years later, I chose to lead this lifestyle and helping others to do the same. :)

Met this elderly couple who sells Nasi Lemak (Malaysian breakfast). We always passed by them when we exercise. With God’s grace, they decided to come and look for us, and decided to go on a healthy regime, but learning the basics of eating well. They could barely climb up the staircase, but now they got healthier, losing 14 kilos in 3 months. Amazing how they in return have helped so many of their friends and family to get healthy too. :)

He was a classic one. I want to lose weight. He came to our breakfast club. Felt pretty good and in 4 weeks, 6.6 kilos in 4 weeks, off the asthma inhaler. Now, lost over 14 kilos. Parents improved general health, like high blood pressure and cholesterol. Sister in overseas who’s pregnant also consuming the same nutrition. His colleague lost 18 kilos in 3 months and no more high BP meds.

I had a customer who found Gloria on the internet. She was a student, and was on fruit diet, she lost and reshaped 7 kgs in just 2 months.

Jane, reshaped 4 kilos, amazing how a simple change in nutrition habits can do to you. :)

Last but not least, Hani, a nurse for more than 10 years pledged her service in the operation theater department. Mother of 3 active boys, lost 16 kilos, in 4 months by learning back the basics. Nutrition and medication is two different subject. Sometimes it takes a little determination and a BIG Why to want to get healthy. She has since inspired so many colleagues in the same medical line to go on nutrition change for the better. ;)

Rudi and Ika a fellow nutritional coach friend. One could’ve been an Engineer, one could’ve been a teacher but chose a path less travelled. True inspiration to young people in their 20s. They’re financially free, has their own home and cars and earning an honest living of 5 figure income because they help others to do the same. :)

So that’s what I’ve been up to. A sneak preview from my perspective. I started out as a 20 year old coming to the city and as I have big dreams and aspirations, it’s because of people I meet, and I choose to believe the positive people, I choose to believe those who sees hope.

As a wise friend who started as  a house painter while in college now earning close to a 6 figure income posted on FB said, 1st – first you start with hoping, then doubting, the magic begins when you start believing and then knowing and continue being it. The intersection of life, is health and wealth. Health is first wealth. I hold on to that, and hoping to aspire those who crosses path with me. :)

How can you not love this yellow electric “mouse”? Apparently, Pokemon has been around for a while and now celebrating its 15th year anniversary today.

I used to collect these eraser; pokemon and digimon too, and you play this flipping game and whoever flips it and whose eraser falls on top of the other will win the eraser.

Yes, life is simpler and happiness is achievable when you’re 10 or 11 years old back then. Now, you’ll probably need to bribe your kids with iPad or the latest Wii game.

If you’re a spoiled brat; a word of advice, “You appreciate things better when you do it yourself”

If you’re the parents; I’m so sorry, but you can do better as a parent.

my latest beauty buy or i would say first time in this category? sure, lipgloss, and lip balms but never a lipstick until now. Never thought I was matured enough to be wearing one, or the inner environmental rebel (sure you’ve heard of lipstick is made of fish scales?). This time, I fell for this marketing gimmick.

who can deny Halle Berry? and the colour should also suit me because i can totally pull it off. yup. story of my life. excuse me while i put some fish scales on my lips.

fake health, bad health  or true health. which one are you?

what is easy to do, is also easy not to do.
